- Poster size is 22 " X 15 " and printed in color on 10 lb - coated cover stock. The smaller version is 8.5"x11" and is punched for a 3-ring binder.
- The poster was designed to help families: (1) record current Emergency Preparation progress, (2) identify areas of need and focus quickly and easily (i.e. before going shopping) and (3) support the 3-Step Family and Neighborhood Emergency Preparedness program (www.3steps.org) that is indirectly supported by LDS wards and stakes.
- Because the poster can be put up on a wall or door of a home, it serves as a reminder, and supports the idea that "Emergency Preparedness, when properly pursued, is a way of life, not a sudden, spectacular program."
- Target quantities for a 1 year supply of food for families (of any size) can easily be calculated and written right on the poster with a pen or pencil, as well as current "on hand" inventory and important notes for anyone in the family to easily reference.
- The poster is designed to be put on the wall or door of a food storage room, kitchen, mud room, garage, etc.
